Two for Three Over the Weekend!

After a week of weather we finally got to spend a few days in the ocean. Day one was a good one. As always, it was like starting over not knowing what we might find. We started trolling for a tuna. Shortly after we realized our best chance was with dolphin and we relocated to find some great dolphin fishing.

Monday we changed direction. Dolphin fishing was good the day before but the boats to the north had much bigger fish. That with the fact that thunderstorms were lined up on the gulf stream steered us to the NE. It was a bust. We never found the body of water with dolphin and covered way too much ground looking. Our catch for the day was a single yellowfin.

Yesterday it was Back to the South. Our day started with good blackfin action. We spent some time later catching dolphin and had a bonus wahoo.
